About Me "Diana Lee Griffin"

I work as a florist, I deal with funerals almost every day. Throughout the world, sympathy flowers have played an important role in funeral customs because of their fragrant beauty and comforting qualities. What's more, they serve as a herald of hope reminding us of the spirit of life. In ancient times, tradition called for loved ones to use flowers and herbs to anoint the bodies of the deceased, while aromatic flowers and plants were used to decorate the burial site. Today, flowers remain one of the most beautiful ways to express our condolences when words fail us. During times of sorrow, sympathy flowers are messengers of hope when it's needed most. To me I look at a funeral as the time for the bride to meet her bride groom. The Casket spray is the bridal bouquet and the flowers from love ones and friends are the brides maids bouquets. After all Our Lord is the Brides Groom and one day He is coming again.

When I visit the Cemetery's in the East Texas Area it like a family reunion most of the time. Seams like I know almost every one. Guess that could mean I am getting old. ha ha heeeeee not me.

Because this is my page I am going to put photos of meself here. That way my boys and grandchildren will have photos of me as I grew up.

To help you get to know us better,

us meaning the family member who have gone before us.

For my sons and grandkids.

To know there roots and for me to find my roots also.

So many times the familys of today let miles and time come between them. The same was for our members of the pass. Then they used to pass stories down for one to another.

Well now at age 53, I have found many of the stories will not live on. But, I hope to leave more for my sons and grandkids and other members of my family. The internet is a great tool. And maybe this will help "The Griffin Tree" to live on and keep on growing.

I know we are not all Griffin's but we are all "FAMILY"
